Please read the important event information below before attending the festival

general information


Gates open to the public at Midday on 19th August 2016 and the festival will end at 6pm on Sunday 21st August.

Please note there is no glass allowed on site and no dogs. Any liquids in glass containers must be decanted.
There is no cash machine on site so please bring all the cash you need.
Parking and camping is included in the ticket price. Please park in the car park and do not drive down the hill. Re-entry is permitted and you can bring in alcohol to the event. Campervans are allowed but must be parked in the car park.
Our drinking water is sourced directly from springs which also feed our solar powered showers. Keep yourself hydrated and clean.
Please recycle using the bins provided and use the compost toilets (made from reclaimed timber) to maximise sustainability.
Refrain from releasing Chinese lanterns as they can cause fires if they land on nearby farms.
If you or someone you find feels unwell there is first aid available 24 hours a day on site. Details in the programme and on site.


Our site is located between Bath and Bristol at the following address:

Hamswell Farm, Hamswell, Bath, BA1 9DG - Please follow signs when you get close if using satnav.


The nearest train station is Bath Spa - taxis can be caught from the station to the site.


There are several taxi companies in Bath including Abbey Taxis whose telephone number is 01225 444444 and V Cars on 01225 464646


From Bristol/London:

Take junction 18 off the M4 following the A46 towards Bath. Turn right at the next roundabout you reach (after about 10 mins), taking the A420 towards Bristol.

Then half a mile down the A420 take the first road on the left (excluding farm gates!) called Freezing Hill Lane. The entrance will be signposted on your left after 200m.

From Bath:

Take the A46 towards the M4 and turn left onto the A420 towards Bristol - the first roundabout you will reach.

The nearest airport is Bristol International


There are no buses directly to the site although you can get close on the 79 from Bath or the 35 from Bristol. 


With prior permission, you can dock with the International Space Station, which passes overhead approximately every 92.69 minutes, and if you jump off at the right time you should arrive at the correct co-ordinates. Please be aware there are currently severe delays on the Intergalactic Highway Southbound due to a supernova in the Andromeda region.


Camping is included free with your ticket but if you're not so keen on camping then these B&Bs are within a few minutes walk from the site:
